I didn’t fly with Raymond too much. He flew a lot of production flying and my flying time was divided between training and production with most of that time spent training. Ray was a very nice person to know in the office and what little I did fly with him, was enjoyable. Ray was always eager to share his knowledge with me about the Tristar.
Ray invited me out one day to his home to see the BD-5 he was building. I’m not sure he ever finished it but I like to think that he did.
